About the Talisman Godin wood stove

Excellent thermal conductivity

The Talisman wood stove has a cast iron surround and firebox. This material is ideal in terms of robustness and heat diffusion.  Cast iron offers excellent thermal conductivity and high inertia . The heat produced by burning wood is stored in the cast iron. It is then optimally released into your living room. The heat diffusion is slow, continuing even after the fire has gone out.

Temperature control

The Godin Talisman stove is equipped with a manual temperature control system. This simplifies temperature control. Air regulation allows you to modulate the heat emitted by your wood stove in your living room.

Ease of use

It was in 1840 that Jean Baptiste André Godin replaced the traditional sheet metal stove with an enameled cast iron stove. Today, Godin has become a generic, popular name synonymous with quality heating. Its production is French; the company has retained its two foundries in Guise, in the Hauts-de-France region. Like the Petit Godin designed by the brand's creator, the products owe their quality to mastery of cast iron.
